No Worries!

Friday, June 18th, 2010

“…dont worry, dont worry be happy, don’t worry, don’t worry, don’t do it, be happy, put a smile on your face, don’t bring everybody down like this”. The famous Bob Marley song is definately one by which you might want to consider living your life. Worrying is never any good for anything except getting premature wrinkles and working on the grey hairs on your temple. Not many people can honestly say that worrying is a feeling that they enjoy. In fact, for the most part, most people are quick to say its irritating and robs them of joy in their lives.

Worry does you no good because if you get the job or not, worrying never did anything to influence the outcome. What has any relationship ever gained by worrying if your significant other is cheating or not? Worrying is just as negative of an emotion as anger and jealousy. And because its negativity it brings a dark cloud to your life and the lives of others! Instead of worrying try to see the silver lining of every frothy cloud that swirls over head; see the glass half full. Smiling and being mellow does more for a situation than any pointless back and forth pacing.

Natural View

Friday, June 18th, 2010

We are all natural creatures. Everything in us screams for a chance to be outside, to breath in fresh gulps of air, to take it all in the way it was all meant to be. The world is just out there, waiting to be explored and adored for all its splendid wonder. And somewhere in us we are just waiting to fully appreciate it for what it really is. Our essence, our core, is in desperate need to stay in touch with our roots. We just want, maybe even need, to be in contact with our inner caveman, if you will.

Campus Place totally understands this need to be au naturale. Not only is the apartment complex affordable, which apeals to your pocket and your inner college student, it has a particularly lovely view from its balconies and patios. Just imagine a nice balmy, summer night and you can finally take a breath from your hard day of work and just enjoy all the world has to offer. The moon beaming down on you, the crickets buzzing and you step onto your patio to count the stars. It’s definately worth the miniscule prize that Campus Place calls rent.

Be Prepared

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

Life is synonymous with change. The seasons go from winter to summer; as we grow older our bodies develop. Everything around us works in conjunction with the idea that stability is deadly and change means that life will go on. Without it we remain stagnant and really, being stagnant means being boring. And let’s admit it, who really wants to be the boring kid? No one. Everyone wants to be dynamic, interesting, a multi-faceted jewel!
However, since life is constantly changing we must always be prepared for the different directions that life can take us. One moment we might be heading toward this destination but life will almost giddily throw you a road block that has you hitting a sharp U turn and backing out the direction you just came. Or perhaps you were so sure about were life was taking you that you never even thought about a plan B. Well, to think like that might be comforting to some but it is foolish. Always have a back up plan to everything you do because you are definately not psychic and life is not exactly working off of your personal game plan. Always be prepared and realize that part of the fun of living is knowing that you never really know!

Think Positive

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

Life is short. You have probably heard this phrase enough that it makes you gag. Still, it is common knowledge and the kind of proverb that can effect the way you directly live your life. It might even hold enough power to help you better your life and maybe even the lives of others. ImAgine just how one little phrase could yurn your life around and turn everything from dreary to fabulous! It may seem impossible but it is definately not.

Thinking positive can effect your life because you have chosen to acknowledge that life is in fact short. You can see it as a negative thing and wallow in a deep, dark pit of despair or you can take it with a grain of salt and laugh about it. Love the life you are given because it is uniquely yours. Chose to greet the day with hope and purpose and shove aside negative thoughts that are anti-productive and malicious. Laughing makes you live longer while frowning just causes wrinkles and an unpleasant face. Grab life by the horns and ride. Don’t worry, be happy and remember The Lion King…”hakuna matata”.
