The ever dreaded end-of-semester finals are the last hurdle that UCB students must overcome so they can enjoy a well deserved break over the summer. Whether you’re a beach bum, fitness fanatic, or crazy concert-goer, a poor grade on a final exam could serious jeopardize your academic career. Don’t worry too much though; all you have to do is focus.
Organization is a major key to academic success. Look up the times and locations of your final exams and write them on a calendar or planner, this will help you prepare better and allow you to plan study dates. Discover which study styles work best for you. Are you more effective when studying with a group or do you perform better when studying alone? Do you like studying at the library or would you rather study at home? Once you figure that out, you’ll be on your way to getting the grade you desire.
